Lagos is a fun city but make sure you stay somewhere clean and safe
I came to Lagos for a few days to attend a friend's wedding. It was my 1st time in the country. Firstly my impression was that all the previous stories I had heard about Lagos were myths or at best, exaggerated! It’s a lively, colorful and fun-loving city.
I have never seen people love to dance, eat and party in Lagos. The down side was lots of visible poverty around folks who had plenty of money to splash! Also traffic in Lagos is a killer. This is one of the worst cities in the world to have to travel in rush hour. My advice is always stay close to the airport. You don’t want to miss your flight and be stranded here.
