Wonderful Goa

I have just returned from Goa, and I must say that I have had a fab time! The village of Colva is ideal for those looking for complete relaxation! The beach is unspoilt and goes on for miles and miles. If you are looking for a little more in the evenings, you are only 10 mins away from Cavelossim, where there are more resturants, bars and shops. Eating out in Goa is so cheap, and the quality of food is very good, so booking an apartment or bed and breakfast hotel would be ideal. Do remember though, that the standards of the hotels can be quite basic. I would definitely return to Goa, but I think that I would stay closer to Cavelossim where it is a little busier.

Travelled to Goa in Nov 2003. Wasn't sure what to expect on arrival! It was a bit of a culture shock however once your'e settled in resort..we stayed in candolim...you think you're in heaven! it is so chilled and relaxing, friendly, cheap and the beaches are perfect. Everything you want from a holiday and what you've saved your hard earned money all year for!! b&b is ideal. go all-inclusive and you will most certainly be wasting your money..the food is so cheap and cooked from fresh ingredients! nov-dec are the best times to travel when it is not so humid..i am returning to candolim in nov..i can't wait!!
